Goaltender Controversy

Yes, I'm only kidding. Johnson played a superb, but simple game tonight, but the team also played much stronger defensively in front of him, than they did in front of Fleury either of the last two games.

This game was a must win. Not for the points or the standings, but for the confidence and morale of the Penguins. Without one of their Alternate captains, Brooks Orpik, the Penguins faced one of the best teams in the league last year, who gave them fits winning all 6 games against the Pens last year, which included Brodeur setting the shutout record against the Pens. After the first two games, the Pens did everything in their power to win against an opponent who was disappointed in their most recent effort, a 7-2 loss against the Washington Capitals.

The Penguins starting goaltender is Marc-Andre Fleury and he will recover, because that's who he is.

Lets Go Pens.
